The island of KohMak is located in the East of the Gulf of Thailand, 35 kilometers from the mainland, at latitude 11° 49' North, longitude 102° 29' East. KohMak is the third biggest island in Trad province after Koh Chang and Koh Kood, with an area of 16 square kilometers; it is mostly flat. The island has a circumference of 27 kilometers, and white sandy beaches stretch from the north-west of the island round to the south.
KohMak Resort is located on the western side of KohMak with white sand beach more than 2,000 meters long, clean and clear seawater with panorama scenery of Koh Kham and Koh Chang in distances.

For your information : When travelling overland to your booked accommodation on an island without its own airport, make sure that boat and train schedules match with each other. If you travel overland by own car, it is very important to arrive at the boat pier in time in order to catch the boat. Various islands offer limited boat transfer from and to the mainland, especially when traveling in the early morning / late evening. It is highly recommendable to add extra time to your planned travel plan.
